Advanced Driver Assistance System checks

Nowadays, most modern vehicles are fitted with cameras, radars and sensors to support features such as automatic emergency braking, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring. They’re called Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, or ADAS. ADAS are designed to improve your vehicle’s safety. And to do that effectively, they rely on accurate positioning and proper calibration. But there are times when these can be affected.

Work such as wheel alignments, suspension repairs, windscreen replacements or collision repairs can affect the way ADAS sensors and cameras operate. So if your vehicle’s had this type of work completed, an ADAS calibration might be needed to make sure the safety systems are reading the road accurately and responding as the manufacturer intended.
